The Riverside Springs Resort is located 102 kilometres from Kathmandu, midway to Pokhara and a 40 minute drive from the tiger habitats of the Chitwan National Park. The new luxury tents provide budget holiday seekers the perfect alternative to enjoying the full range of resort facilities including the swimming pool but on a budget tariff. Camping on the beach is also a popular option for large rafting parties.

RESTAURANT

An ala carte restaurant with its airy veranda overlooking the swimming pool and the white sands beyond, offers a range of food fare from continental to home-cooked Nepali daal-bhat. Fresh river fish is an all-time favorite. The restaurant and its adjoining garden can accomodate private parties of up to 102 persons seated and 250 persons cocktail style. The restaurant hosts two bars, one by the main dining area of the restaurant and the other submerged in the pool!

CONFERENCE HALL

The best ideas come from healthy and happy minds. The resort’s conference hall is an ideal venue for refreshing retreats- a true sanctuary for brainstorming. It can accommodate 50 persons roundtable style and up to 110 persons theatre style. Equipped to cater to the needs of the modern professional meeting, the resort’s conference facilities also offer a smart game of Pool at the tables adjacent to the hall or a dip in the swimming pool to relieve a heated discussion.

For those who are looking for more than just a lazy weekend, the resort offers a variety of activities in the area.

Swim to your heart’s content. Our landscaped fresh spring water swimming pool promises the most heavenly of swimming experiences. Haven’t packed the necessary? Swimming trunks, sun block lotion and other accessories are available for purchase.

The Trishuli river is a stone’s throw away and offers exciting river adventures. The 1.5 hour rafting stretch from Fishling is perfect for first-timers. A 3 hour stretch from Charaudi might appeal to the more adventurous. Kayaking lessons are also available upon request.

Our neighboring villages offer visitors an opportunity to take a stroll and meet the local community. Or take a walk along the Trishuli river and take home an exquisite river rock collection. Adult and children’s bicycles are also available.

A 30 minute hike to Pangdure Khola will take you to an exciting natural water slide; an ideal spot for a picnic lunch. Contact the reception for your guide, packed lunch and life jackets.

The resort serves as a central hub from where you can make day trips to Gorkha (39kms), Bandipur (40 kms), Dev Ghat (40 kms) and the popular Manakamana Temple just 20 minutes by cable car or a 4 hour trek.
